We’re proud to say that we raised £1,105 on the evening; there were some people that couldn’t attend the event who have said that they would like to make a donation. If this is you then please make payment into the following account (CGA – Lloyds – Sort Code 30-63-64 A/C Number 50762060 – with the reference “Donation”) and we will confirm the final amount raised in our newsletter. We hope to transfer the money to our chosen charities by the end of November.
Naturally, we had to record the event visually and so we had a lovely photographer on hand all evening and can’t wait to get hold of the evidence and share the photos with you.
There were of course speeches during the evening, with Claire taking to the microphone for the first time and Chelle as usual not wanting to let go of the microphone. Chelle did forget to announce the winners of the quiz, which were Andrew’s table (table 3) with only 1 point in it. 2
nd place goes to Lawrence’s table (table 4) – he says there was absolutely no cheating even though he did write the quiz! There was a tie for 3
rd place between Claire’s and Billy’s table – well done everyone, the quiz and answers can be found below.

We were highly amused with some of the answers to the bonus question, which was:
Assuming it is an Acronym, what does CGA stand for?
In fact some were so hilarious we have decided to keep the question running for a couple of weeks to encourage more suggestions as we may adopt some of these names during the coming months – although Chelle wasn’t that impressed with whoever decided on a ruder version of “Chelle Gets Annoyed”!!!!! Please
click here to email us your suggestions – we will definitely share some of these on our newsletters.
All in all the evening was exactly what we wanted in celebration of various milestones, Gemma, Melissa and Nicky worked behind the scenes to keep the communications flowing and to ensure that the event administration was all in order. The CGA team were absolute stars on the night, hosting tables and giving up their time to support the event and entertain our lovely clients.
However there is no doubt that the final thank you must go to those of you that attended and supported the celebrations. As Chelle mentioned in her speech, CGA are lucky to have clients that pre-date her length of time at CGA. We have since discovered that John and Jenny Exton who were named as one of our longest-standing clients, do really actually pre-date Chelle, with the first generation of the family joining what is now CGA 77 years ago!!! That’s a pretty amazing statistic.
We know from your thank you messages that those of you who attended enjoyed the evening as much as we did and we know that some of you are keen to get hold of some of the great people that helped our evening go with a bang, so below you will find various contact details and links to click for reviews. Reviews are massively important in helping businesses promote their offerings and services so do please take the time to add any well-deserved positive feedback.
