Great North Run 2026 – Selby’s very local team effort

This Sunday, two of our Selby Cricket Club players, Isaac Leung and Harry Huddlestone, will be taking on the Great North Run and raising money for Selby Hands of Hope and Selby Cricket Club.

CGA is already very proud to be sponsoring the Selby Hands of Hope Great North Run team this year, so it was a lovely coincidence to discover that two familiar faces from Selby CC will be amongst the runners too!

We’re also long-standing supporters and sponsors of Selby Cricket Club – a club particularly close to home for us, with Chelle serving as Treasurer (along with the numerous other jobs that somehow come with the title! 😂).

Money raised for the cricket club will help towards its continued development, including improvements to the clubhouse and the new bar, helping to make the club an even better place for players, families and the wider community.

So this Sunday we’ll be cheering on the whole Selby Hands of Hope team, with an extra-loud cheer for Isaac and Harry.
